Congratulations Boston...The better team won this time. Thomas has put up the best performance of all time and he deserved it more than anyone, the Conn Smythe. I wish the people in Vancouver put on as respectful cheer as the people in Rogers Arena did. Cheered for Thomas winning the Conn Smythe...its a terrible showing in the city.

man, i should of bet on the riots... all day I told people "there is going to be a riot" and they all laughed and scoffed at me for saying so.... I could of been an overnight millionaire.
I may not know sh*t about sh*t, but I know enough to know that this is what was going to happen.... win or lose.

I know it shouldn't, but seeing another cup go to an Original Six team and staying out of Vancouver makes my heart warm. Respect and praise to the Canucks for making it this far and finally shaking some of the losing stigma that has plagued them, and congrats to the Bruins on winning the Stanley Cup!

Boston has a great bunch of players and they deserved the cup. I'm really happy to see them win even though Vancouver is also a great team. Someday I'm sure they'll win their cup, but not this year.
Marchand who comes from Hammonds Plains Nova Scotia. He used to play on my towns hockey team but people didn't like him because he never lived up to our expectations :P Now look at him. |

I don't know what to say. The two main teams I cheer for (Bruins and Vikings) are some of the most renowned chokers in sports, but this playoff run was so unbelievably clutch, and it's an amazing feeling to see your team that you've stuck with through thick and thin win it all. When Bergy lifted that Cup... ****. So unreal. So proud of this team.

This isn't something exclusive to Vancouver, Canada, or North America. Unfortunately sports can bring out the very ugly side of people. Look at what happened in Los Angeles with the San Francisco Giants fan that is still in a coma, almost 3 months after having his head bashed in after a ball game.
