WNBA is terrible. I feel bad that women can't get paid much professionally and nobody cares about their games, but it's just so boring and uninteresting to watch. I'm sure we couldn't, but I always feel like my high school team would have had a decent shot at beating a WNBA team.

Fem groups would be all down their throat if they did that.

Dirty or anyone else that knows. Who is this kid playing on the bulls? his number is number 1. He is as good as they are making him out to be? I don't even watch/keep up with NBA period but I saw someone talking about him. I don't even remember his name.

Yep, I think most people agree Blake didn't deserve to win it. There was simply no way he was going to lose though. He's the poster boy, the human highlight reel shown on TV every night, and he was dunking in his hometown. None of his dunks were even that impressive. People went nuts when he dunked over the front end of the car... Really? Lol, that's not impressive. But people expected to be going crazy and they weren't going to leave without going nuts so they can tell their kids someday they saw Blake Griffin win a dunk contest.

Ibaka probably had the best dunk. The one from the foul line. Jordan, Dr. J, countless others, etc were always in front of the line, but Ibaka took off behind it and it was pretty nice. I thought McGee was really creative and had some tough dunks as well and probably should've taken home the trophy.

Okay I'm pretty clueless when it comes to B-ball. What teams do these guys play for? Blake Griffin? Ibaka? and McGee?

Basically what eric_generic said but I'll follow up a little bit and say that Ibaka, DeRozan, and McGee will never be all-star players. They are just your average type of players. Griffen is the best rookie since LeBron james and is going to be an all-star every year for a long time. Even if you don't follow basketball or sports much, everyone will know Griffen's name eventually. He's gonna be a mega-star type guy

Derrick Rose. I might not be the best person to ask because I'm biased as he's my favourite player and I've been following him since he was in HS.

But I would buy into the hype. He's in the mix with the elite PGs in the league (Rose, Rondo, Paul, D-Williams, Westbrook, Nash) and in many people's opinion is the MVP this year. He was already a very good player before this year but he's now just taken off and improved so many aspects of his game this year.

I know two women who can dunk / could dunk personally. One was my cousin who played division I ball before she ruined her knee, and the other was this 6'3" behemoth I had to guard in a game because our center fouled out.

Quite possibly the best dunk competition I've ever seen. These competitions are so hit and miss but everyone showed up tonight. I though Griffin was the worst out of all 4 though.
