The Hawks have never been to the Finals. After they blew up that team that made the Eastern Finals - after 40 years - idk - this season the constant Vince Carter farewell tour. Hawks getting blown out every night and then it’s hugs all around for Vince Carter. He’s great but his final season being his only one as a Hawk. And they suck. And he’s the main story every night.

I’m probably wrong about not building the team around him. If you say so I believe you but if there’s ever been a city that’s designed to have a good NBA team it's Atlanta so my patience is tried.

Nah, I understand. They've definitely been stagnant in recent years. They had a stretch in the late 2000s/early 2010s similar to the Raptors prior to last year, where they were consistently an outside playoff team. Good enough to not get a lottery pick but too bad to make it past the first or second round.

Braves have a great roster though, especially if they can make a move for a 3rd baseman to replace Donaldson. So at least you have that.

Trae is a great player but he's kind of bi-polar.

The Braves are a far better run franchise obviously but goddamn are they ****ing heartbreakers. I kind of had to let go of baseball a little bit after that infield fly rule game.

For me it's not even just them being a good team, they just always end up with great players who you just want to root for. Maddux, Smoltz, and Glavine. Chipper Jones and Andruw Jones. Now they have Acuna, Albies, and Freeman.

It's so hard not to like them when they manage to always get the most likeable players.

Acuna is especially awesome for how upset he makes the old school boomer white men.

But sold $100 worth at my pops store. which is a the fancy news I wanted to share. He sold 6 boxes of 1000 cards for 15 each I had up there and then $90 in cards in cases I brought up there. I gave him $80 of the $180.


Im shocked someone bought the 6000 cards though. That was $90 plus $10 each for 9 cards.

I don't know about cards but I know from buying used games online that if you mark the price down too much people will just assume it's fake or ****ed up.

I know, but listing for over $500 is silly for a card that have 98 others. If it was a 1 of 1, then $1000 or more would be more realistic.
