I think what lost it for them was the insane amount of open 3 point shots miami got the entire series. This last game they scored half there points in wide open 3;s.

ScriptFan1 06-23-2012 08:02 PM

Heat win -_-

Bloozcrooz 06-24-2012 03:19 PM

Well as bad as I hate to say it congrats to the heat for their championship win. Lebron you finally got a ring but I hope this doesnt help to fuel the Lebron vs Jordan comparison even more among the media. Cause that is what turns me off the most from being a Lebron fan. He is who he is and thats a great ball player but by no means a Jordan imo. Anyway looking forward to the Lakers reclaiming the crown next season so enjoy it while you can Heat!

Meph1986 06-24-2012 03:23 PM

YAY Heat!

cassidyfenty22 06-26-2012 06:50 PM

Now time for the off season you guys. Latest news? Ray Allen eyeing the Miami Heat? What do you think?

Sounds like a perfect fit for him.
If they sign him, and he is a bench player, they have the deepest 3 point shooting team in the league, easily

Forward To Death 06-27-2012 12:17 AM

Who's going to stop the Heat from repeating? OKC could, but they have to let their sacks drop and stop ****ing around when they need to close **** out. They were in control of 2 of those losses, and they had momentum for a while in the last game when they closed it to within 7.... Then I turned around, went to work, came back and it's 98-71. That's pathetic for a team as good as OKC. They could have easily taken at least 2 of those losses, and taken it to 7 games, but they didn't.

chipper 06-27-2012 01:54 AM

i'll give Heat 3-4 more years of dominance.

proud of coach Spo

I think so too. But they need to get a good point guard like Nash or Kidd. Then they also need a good/big guy.

Dr_Rez 06-27-2012 08:02 PM

If Ray Allen went to the Heat I would never watch basketball again.

Prepare yourself.

Sparky 06-27-2012 11:38 PM

brandon roy coming out of retirement

eric, what do you make of this?

debaserr 06-27-2012 11:43 PM

He probably had the same treatment that Kobe got. I don't think much, I don't think it's a miracle treatment at all. I hear it makes it feel better for a while and that's about it. He's still got a bum knee.

Dr_Rez 06-28-2012 10:08 AM

When did Kobe come out of retirment.......? He played every year since 96. Not to mention recently with the knee he has still gotten a championship AND averages over 25 points a game.

debaserr 06-28-2012 10:35 AM

I was talking about Roy.

cassidyfenty22 06-29-2012 10:58 AM

If Brandon Roy will return, he will not be the same player as he is before.

Sparky 06-29-2012 02:08 PM

Right now the timberwolves starting line up would be all white guys.

I'm personally very pleased by this :D. I want to see if solid fundamentals and team work can stand against people who can ball and slam dunks.

Were going to free throw our way to the finals baby!

debaserr 06-29-2012 02:18 PM

Because black guys don't play as a team and have poor fundamentals yet white guys can't ball or dunk?

Sparky 06-29-2012 02:23 PM

I can stereotype as much as i feel like.

I really do want to see a team of white people succeed in a league where 80% are black. I can't help it.

I'd root for a black hockey team as well if it's any consolation.

Forward To Death 06-29-2012 02:24 PM

The Thunder now has Perry Jones. How the **** did he slip that far? He might have a meniscus issue, which is actually extremely easy to fix, and isn't going to hinder performance.

debaserr 06-29-2012 02:37 PM

He fell because of worries about his psyche.

Did you guys watch the ESPN preview show? Andy Katz said Sullinger had "bulging dicks" in his back (discs).

Which is total bs. Thunder got a steal.

it seems heat doesn't feel like they need one.

they're going for Allen. they're offering him $12M.

i am not sure why allen would want to move. a shot at another ring?

Dr_Rez 07-03-2012 09:41 PM

Boston would have his family assassinated if he went.

debaserr 07-04-2012 11:26 PM

Nash is headed to the Lakers. Now, if we can just swap Bynum for Howard, we will be talking (Howards D >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Bynums).

Sparky 07-05-2012 12:30 AM

i don't know why everyone is so excited for nash.
I thought he loooked archaic and winded by the end of last season, i give him starting next season and bench next year but not much service beyond that

chipper 07-05-2012 02:32 AM

he still has the ability to handle the ball well and he still has enough intelligence to set up plays.

i think the Lakers are just out to win one more before Kobe bows down. he still has one or two more years on his contract but come on, the guy is old. i think he just wants one more

You must be kidding. Take a look at that Suns roster and tell me if they should be a game away from making the playoffs in the West where it's quite hard to do so.

I got two words for why they would be excited about Nash---> Steve Blake.

Blake played a hell of a lot better than Sessions in the playoffs last year.

Sessions is gonna sign elsewhere. Him ****ting the bed in the playoffs won't be a problem. I think even without signing Howard the Lakers are contenders, we'll see how it plays out. I think they will have to run and gun a little bit which Brown usually doesn't like to do. I'm excited about the Nash signing, i prefer him over Sessions or Blake, its a considerable upgrade.

Sparky 07-05-2012 12:56 PM

I hope you guys lose pau to the twolves soon.

It's been a rumored trade for a while, don't know what we have to give other then Derrick Williams but i'd love it if it happened

very true.

I just remember he had a lot of turnovers during the last couple games of the season when they still had the chance to enter the playoffs.

You just said so yourself, it's not happening. At this point Pau's stock is so low I would be amazed if he was traded.

I hope the Lakers hold onto Pau. I am hoping this last season was motivation to get his game in order and workout hard.

Sparky 07-06-2012 12:52 PM

Sooo if my timberwolvez get a semi-recovered brandon roy, and actually land batum i think we will be pretty f'ing hard to stop.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for steisma as well. And Derrick Williams hopefully can slim down to a SF position.

We would have serious depth in every position except shooting guard unless budinger can play it which i think he can.

If rubio was making us a playoff contender with virtually no wing play and nothing coming off the bench just imagine how easy it should be this year.

derek 07-07-2012 12:14 PM

Ray Allen and Marcus Camby will be going to the Heat...that is one sick team...most likely gonna repeat.

Sparky 07-08-2012 08:40 PM

did you guys know steve nash acts and directs his own viral videos?

heres his latest batman one

Thom Yorke 07-09-2012 09:48 AM

Allen's going to have an awesome season next year. So many wide open 3's.

debaserr 07-10-2012 07:25 PM

The Heat just got Rashard Lewis @ 2yr / 2.8m.

Jesus mang, he hasn't really played well since the Magic were making playoff runs, but he has to help them. They are getting deep.
