My point was Miami killed them, game wasnt even close. They are the better team and only have the Pacers to worry about.

so jason collins became the first openly gay major sport athlete to play in a gm last nite
good for him, really but watchin the highlights of the gm was kinda funny. they were showin him settin a screen, grabbin a rebound, etc. like who cares, hes never been a good player. hopefully this story kinda fades and his teammates dont have to deal with dumb questions every day. |

Some predictions for the next few years:
Heat threepeat Both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love will join the Lakers The 76ers will be perennial contenders within a few more seasons Anthony Davis will become the best big man in the NBA (hes already almost there lol) Duncan and Kobe retiring will usher in a new era in the western conference where the Thunder, Rockets, and Clippers are the best teams instead of the Spurs, Lakers, and Mavericks like its been the past decade The New Orleans Pelicans will win an NBA championship in the next five years Marcus Smart will be a mega bust while Dante Exum will be elite Kevin Durant will only get one ring in the next five years Thats all I got.

Yeah true, I just don't want to call the era over yet until all those big names are officially retired although it's pretty clear that the Lakers and Mavs have fallen pretty far out of contention at this point. Amazingly the timeless Spurs just never seem to go away though, I wonder what that team will be like when Manu and Timmy retire.

funny that i see u guys postin in this thread as im literally watchin the lebron highlights from the 2012 eastern conference finals, game 6 vs boston.
if ur in the basketball mood watch those highlights because lebron was in a special zone that is rare to see. i was alsow atchin lebron rookie highlights from a late season game vs new jersey. the aggression and fluid nature of his game as a rookie was just absurd, u never see a rookie play like that with that type of confidence and skill anyways, danny granger is gonna be a free agent.... maybe to san antonio????? could be a nice pickup for someone but it just seems like theres so few legit contenders this yr. heat and pacers, spurs and okc?? clippers too but what are they gonna do late in games with deandre jordan?? i feel like its real hard for them to score sometimes against good teams. houston i dunno yet, they seem uncertain with who should be playin at certain times okc is gonna run the west for a really long time and i think they will always regret the harden deal..... still makes no sense on any level to me. but i have said for 2 yrs and will continue sayin that serge ibaka is probably the most under rated player in the league. hes developed a really silky jumper for his size. hmmm i can agree with all of that.... i honesty think miami could like... 6 peat.... that might be a stretch but i mean i wouldnt be shocked, its just a matter of keepin their fire lit over the next few yrs. even as wade fades to the sunset, lebron and bosh with a new crop of shooters around them is plenty for a championship... and who knows but oden is lookin really good considerin the time he took off and hes still really young all things considered anthony davis is an absolute stud. i am interested to see how his body changes over the yrs cause he still doesnt look like hes grown into his shoulders?? but hes a freak of nature and has a ton of skill at that size and length. hes gonna be one of the few big who can take you inside and outside and protect the rim, maybe the only guy left soon. im gonan add julius randle into the bust list with smart. i can just see them both bustin |

His second best game ever was that Pistons game. You know the one I'm talking about. He was that good as a rookie because he's maybe the most gifted physical specimen alive. Is there anyone else on the planet that can come close in terms of pure speed, strength, and size? I feel pretty confident assuming that he's probably the fastest 6'8"+ man that has ever lived. The NBA is definitely very obvious this year. There is absolutely no question in the East, it would be one of the biggest upsets in the history of the sport if the Pacers and Heat don't meet in the ECF. The West is almost definitely already decided too. I think OKC is almost a lock for the WCF with how Durant is playing, and the Spurs are also very likely but I could see the Rockets or Clippers overthrowing them. No one else in the West has a chance imo. Quote:

Such a shame Timmy is going to retire without his 5th deserved ring that was stolen from him.
Thunder is way better than overrated Miami. They were just immature when they played Miami because it was their first time getting to the Finals. I don't see Miami winning again if they play them again unless a similar situation occurs like last year where the stars and planets were aligned for Ray Allen to hit that miracle shot. Lucky shots like that do not happen EVERY single time. Kevin Durant is humble, not arrogant and very talented. He is a GREAT role model for young boys especially young African American boys. |
