What about those two fouls in the last .5 seconds that were not called on Ray Allen and Bosh? Are you honestly arguing that Refs do not make controversial calls? This is a issue that affects all sports not just the NBA. A bad call can GREATLY impact the outcome of a game. It happens ALL the time. |

the lakers vs kings western finals yrs ago was rigged other than that i dont think its rigged for any team. a ref would have to feel 100% comfortable in those calls and they werent. cause they were tough calls. btw david stern is no longer commish. crazy how the game has changed with him as commish |

If Manu or Greene had of went to the free throw line and just had hit one of the shots they would have won. The NBA is going to get their money some way or another. I heard there were alot of bets made in Las Vegas for Miami to win which is why they did that. But people are so gullible and take everything for face value |

The NBA are marketing Miami as the "Chicago Bulls Dream Team". They wanted a Game 7 to draw more ratings and money. The Spurs technically should have won but the NBA purposely pushed a Game 7 to make it more entertaining and for the bets. Betting is a million dollar investment. Although the Spurs should have won if they had of won, people would have lost ALOT of money and probably would have sued the NBA making up bs like they cheated and all that crap. |

You see what I mean? The Spurs blew the game themselves. Steve Kerr said as much, "The Spurs straight up blew it..." And no, I'm not arguing the refs don't make controversial calls, I AM against the idea that the refs decide the outcome of a game. 99.9% of the time, the play of the teams wholly decide which one wins and loses. Game 6 of the Western Conference finals back in 2002 (see below) being a possible example of games where the refs were woefully mistaken and may have had enough impact to alter the outcome of that series. 2. The LA-Kings series back in 2002: As far as I can see, game 6 was the only game where there were allegations of corruption. After that, the Kings gave away game 7, so losing the series was their own fault (2-20 on threes (10%!) in game 7 being case-and-point.) Game 6 WAS pretty iffy. Though the Mavs-Heat '06 series I do not believe suffered that same fate. The refs just know to look for contact with Wade because all he does is drive, and people foul him intentionally all the time as a result. I'm sure in a few years people might say Westrbook or Rose get favorable calls cause the refs get used to looking for it. (if those two were ever healthy, especially Rose). 3. David Stern: Did you see the draft last year!? That was hysterical how much people were booing him! The only thing I have against him is the whole condensed schedule back in 2011-2012, which I think greatly deteriorated players across all the teams. Last edited by Wpnfire; 01-31-2014 at 11:37 PM. |

All I know is I don't watch the NBA anymore. I cried when they lost because it wasn't fair. Its... its to much and then the lies... I don't support things like that Tim deserves one more ring before he retires |

How ****ing immature can someone be I love the tears of pathetic NBA "fans". I'll just slip on my Miami Heat 2012-2013 NBA Champions t-shirt and go on with my day.
