LA desperately needs him. I just hope Orlando doesn't drag their feet forever.
Bynum has spurts of good defense, but I can certainly see the point. Bynum also is extremely lazy getting back on the break as is Gasol. I just hope if this trade goes through that Howards back will hold up after the surgery. Thats the one concern i would have in the swap, its clear Howard is the most dominant big man in the game overall, when healthy.

I tend to think Bynums knee is gonna hold up. He had very good numbers last year overall. Howard's back could come back to haunt who ever picks him up, its certainly plausible. I always have flashbacks of Larry Bird laying down on the sidelines when i think back surgery. I'm not discounting Howard hes a tremendous specimen, but I think evaluating his back should certainly be a major concern before a trade.

There's no reason to believe that anyone should be more concerned about Howard's health compared to Bynum.

Andrew played last season and averaged 18 a game and over 10 rebounds. Dwight had back surgery. Something doesn't add up here.

I assume you are familiar with the injury history of both players. I have nothing to add.

If you see it that way, fine.

clippers looking pretty good. healthy chauncey returning, odom, and bledsoe probably being better.

With vinny as the coach still don't see them getting far in the playoffs

I don't expect much from Billups, but Odom and Bledsoe should help a lot.

Having said that, I really don't like the FA pickups of Hill / Crawford (he's decent, but not gonna make a huge difference / this kid plays no D).
