People are already saying Bynum or Gasol has to go. It will be interesting to see what they could get for Gasol. I don't think they could get much that would make them a better team. Steve Nash is a free agent, I wonder if they will try to work some magic to get him. I say screw getting younger, go get some shooters and restock for next season. |

Typical immature Bynum. Dude will never grow up. But he's an immense talent and the 2nd best center in the game. And judging by the Lakers past reluctance to trade him, I don't see him going anywhere. Kobe wanted Bynum traded a few years ago for Jason Kidd and Lakers wouldn't do it.
I think Gasol is gone. I don't think he should be, but after all the speculation and attempts to trade him last off-season, I really don't see him staying in LA. Not sure who would really want him and his contract and what they'd give up for him, but maybe the Lakers will find a sucker to deal with (like they did when they got Gasol) |

The only way they will let go of Bynum is if they land Howard (or some other mega star).
PS: That trade didn't work out THAT bad for Memphis, they landed his brother and a 1st round pick.

And you're right, they wouldn't give up Bynum unless they got Dwight in my opinion. And I could see that happening. Dwight has been a huge douche in Orlando and I think he will walk after next season. And last season showed me that the Lakers are willing to make big moves with the whole CP3 voided deal and shipping Odom out of town (such a dumb move though!!). The more I thought about it tonight, the more Steve Nash makes sense in LA. I'm not sure about salary cap implications, but aside from that ya gotta figure Nash only wants to go to a legit title contender and LA is pretty much the only legit contender without a great PG. The other great teams are great because of their current PGs (Westbrook, Rose, Parker, Rondo, and LBJ is pretty much a point guard forward for Miami). Whatever happens, everything is magnified in LA and it's gonna be a really interesting off-season for them. |

Both. You said he didnt perform up to spec yet he had an over 40 point game. I agree though with your comment about okc being the better team overall.

Even the most adamant Kobe haters couldn't deny that 42 pts on 18-33 shooting is a good game. |

Steve Nash wouldn't work in LA, it just wouldn't. I would much rather see Nash in Utah, they would have a great team with him at point. Nash actually looked pretty old to me this season and wouldn't complain if he just retired. |

I'm hoping Indiana can close the series, but I bet miami will take it. It's gonna be interesting.
OKC vs San Antonio is going to be epic. OKC is younger, probably has a little more talent, but I think San antonio just finds a way to get it done like they always have. |

Heat ran away with Game 5 starting with a minute left in the 1st half. A game most people expected them to win. I'd normally give Indiana a 50-50 chance next game, but Granger isn't gonna be 100% and they really need him. Heat win Game 6 by 10 I think, but great season for the Pacers.
