The Mavs usually have the same tempo as OKC, but Miami did a great job defensively. The thing is, I get annoyed by defensiveness basketball. Extremely high scoring games frustrate me because it lacks a lot of fundamentals. I can see where you're coming from, though, if that's what you watch for. As far as Orlando goes, I just feel like in order to keep DH, which they'll do anything to do, they're going to bring in another couple pieces to help him out. A great point guard would put them over the edge.

Too bad they signed Rashard Lewis to a max deal that has now become Arenas' rotting corpse.

These teams with top flight players should take their cues from LA and OKC. DON'T OVERPAY ROLEPLAYERS, YOU ARE AN EXTREMELY ATTRACTIVE FREE AGENT DESTINATION.

Howard: I want to stay, but I'm still becoming a free agent | NBA.com

He basically gave them an ultimatum saying they either win next year or he is gone.

BTW, Philly has been shopping Iggy to Golden State and the Clips. I really hope for his sake that he goes to the Warriors instead of the Clippers.

The Clippers are a good young nucleus. Iguodola would look good on that team. I agree the Warriors probably have more talent in the end however. I believe Howard should stay in Orlando, they are a couple players away from a championship. He may end up getting his best offer from Orlando anyway as not many teams are ready to give up draft picks these past years.

Don't forget that the Clippers are owned by Donald "I make James Dolan look smart" Sterling.

Don't ever count out the media in getting to a guy's head and forcing him to make a bad "decision."

People are already peddling "Dwight for Lebron" rumors and some Laker fans are starting to get a bit jumpy.

Oh i know Sterlings a total **** up, that is never lost on me. I can't see Miami blowing up that team after making the finals. If i saw a sign and trade i think it would involve the Lakers. Dwight for Bynum and Odom would be my guess. Being a Lakers fan its only fair, The Lakers have gone long enough without a Championship. LOL

All I know is that Lebron was traded after this then that would be ultimate blow to his ego.

I imagine little Aiden has been suffering for his entire 1 year of living without seeing his Lakers becoming NBA Champs.

Miami Herald fail.

By some miracle, Josh Harrelson was drafted mid-second round. Holy ****.

Happy to see Faried go around late first round; really excited that the guy didn't get buried in the second clusterfuck...er...round.

I'd not have put Kyrie Irving at the top overall prospect either...I guess I'd have given him fourth or something, so it's not that big a deal. I don't think he's going to be a Kwame Brown-esque draft bust or anything like that.

Also, Chandler Parsons, I feel, is a huge second round steal. I think that boy's got a career ahead of him.

Finally: **** Jimmer Fredette. Can't stand that kid.

What's not to like about Jimmer? He's never said anything that irked me in the slightest, and he is really fun to watch. I think he could be fairly effective as a 6th man scorer type. I'm not sure if he could become a starter, but he certainly has the capacity to. He's a decent athlete and you know he is going to work as hard as anyone. If he could somehow manage to become a excellent passer and a decent defender, he could be extremely fun to watch.

I think Irving was the right pick at #1. In my mind, he is one of few in the draft with the ability to become an all-star. He has an extremely high Bball IQ and is an excellent shooter. In addition, I think he will be an above average defender.

I think Williams is going to be a bust relative to where he was taken. First of all, he doesn't really have a position. He doesn't have the handle or quickness to be a 3, and he doesn't have the prototypical height/weight of a 4. I see him as a solid rotation player.

Kanter will be an OK center, nothing more or less.

Tristan Thompson was a huge reach.

The biggest steals of the lottery were Kemba and the Morris twins.

I am annoyed at the guy because he has received so much unnecessary media attention. If someone didn't know basketball they would think that he was a destined top 5 pick or something. The kid is just screams Adam Morrison 2.0, which is not bad since he has 2 more rings than Lebron.

Who the **** is Iman Shumpert? I have never watched a Georgia Tech game in my life so I'm not very knowledgeable on this kid.
