Turtle
Good thing about having a kayak is that you can get really close to these little turtles that sit out on these logs in the middle of the pond

Reflections

Sunset
It just quit raining and the sun was setting and the colors were beautiful and they shown in the puddles just perfectly. I have so much respect for people who can take good sunset shots because its so hard to capture all that detail when some parts are extremely bright like the sky and other parts are really dark like the ground.

Snow Geese
Chased these guys all overhell and back in knee deep mud to get a decent shot. Its just impossible to get close to them.

I love this one sidewinder. You really captured a nice mood- silouettes are some of my favorite to look at and are not easy to shoot! And i feel the people you captured in the frame make it. Kind of adds a personal vibe to it. My hat is off to you sir.

Thank you Vegan, I appreciate it. But I'm glad you can't see the thousands of shots I take everyday that suck.

Thank you, its the only sunset shot I've ever taken that has come out worth a damn. And actually I went out there to shoot a rainbow in the opposite direction, but I thought this was even prettier.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Does anyone photograph flowers? I like to take pics of colorful flowers because it's easy to get great results, even by a clumsy amateur like me. You just have to press the button... et voilà. Dahlias are fantastic. A lot of varieties and colours. I photographed many of them last year:
