More ducks. Yesterday:

Handsome drake, isn't he? I guess he'll find a pretty "wife" and then they'll have ducklings. Like the ones I saw at a pond yesterday. Using the zoom, I photographed some of those tiny hairy creatures:

So cute! Not even the Good Gremlins were that cute.

I'm glad you liked the pics. I think cuteness and beauty may be anywhere. And if you have enough sensitivity, curiosity and a certain sense of aesthetics, you can capture nice moments. For instance, two days ago I saw a street cat, and I didn't mind spending a few minutes taking some photos of him, using the zoom:

Then I tried to get closer, but he ran away and I didn't see him anymore. I hope he's fine. According to an unwritten urban principle worldwide, the number of street cats is proportional to the number of lonely old ladies who feed them. In fact, I saw some food remains by there.

And yesterday I photographed this cute dog in a park:

My sister feeds a random stray cat that lives in their suburb. She's 29. It just walks around their house all day.

I love pics of kittens. I really wish I would've gotten some better shots of my cat when he was that age. They are so cool when they are about the size of your hand.

What type of zoom lenses do you have? what's the x on it?

I was trying to do something similar to that but my camera is awful so I had to tip toe closer to them and I ended up stepping on a pebble that scared them off a bit so the pics that I do have aren't as good as I would have liked them to be.

It does, doesn't it? I think photographing fireworks is a real art form. It takes a lot of practice to get the timing right.

The ducks I photographed seemed to be calm. I guess they're used to seeing humans. Also, a pocket tripod helps me to keep the camera still...
