I've photographed some Civil War bunkers, of the so-called "pillbox" type. The former frontline is nowadays a lush park.



I'm not a big fan of pigeons (a.k.a. "the rats of the air"), but, since they are regarded as symbols of peace, I thought this could be an interesting picture:



At another bunker, I wanted to take a close-up photo. And at the very moment I shot, a pigeon shot off the loophole.



Too blurred. But at that moment I thought: "Damn, what a coincidence, I'm a f**king visual poet!!".

Nice cathedral but the inside is a little more interesting:
