the large deficit of forest in the UK in general terrifies me

because i absolutely love the aesthetics and the atmosphere of the forests here and i know that britain was once much more heavily forested; seeing the land so barren alarms me that one day it could be like that here too with the pine beetles and clearcutting, though i hope it never comes to that and i don't expect (perhaps naively) it would in my lifetime

thats not to say that i think britain/scotland is an ugly place at all, i loved it when i went. it's just not what i would ever want to see here... freaks me out a bit haha

ah right, those hills have gravel surfaces and thats why there arent any trees, im going to take photos of the forest near my house, just for you

Thank you, I highly highly recommend the country

I was using a 8mp digital camera, nothing out of the ordinary, a normal camera that every family has!

(I think I used that camera anyway, either that or my phone which is 5mp.)
