That's my little dog! His name is Spike and I found him at a lost dog's home. They were going to put him down because he was 13 years old and noone was going to adopt him So I had to take him home.

There is some serious quality material here... I especially like how some of the best shots are more because of good framing and capturing unique moments than skill at photoshopping or having an awesome camera.
I do mostly concert photography but I love landscapes like everyone else. I use a Canon Rebel XTi, usually with an EF 50mm f/1.8, but for concert shots I often borrow my dad's EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 (constant) and use a Speedlite (420EX). My only walk-around lens is the 18-55mm IS that was in the kit, but it's pretty awful in comparison to the 50mm (which was only $150) so my next purchase will be an EF 17-85mm. My site is at Through The Looking Glass but here are a couple shots I'm proud of. These are from a recent trip to Washington State: Last edited by Hesher; 07-29-2009 at 03:24 AM. |

Nice pictures. I tried to take pix of a concert, but it was difficult to capture a photo without using the Flash. i was trying to capture the lights too. Very few were net.
