Last night I tried my first reflection Photo...glass of water added a cotton pad scrunked it and dipped it in Red Wine..squeezed it out, dried it with a hair dryer...then added a little grease to it..lastly I put a torch under it.....

just took 2 photos..almost the same ...

at least there is some reflection....

Can I ask where your first beach shot was taken? It looks like a beach in Prince Edward Island I once visited.

That table isn't that far in the woods but there are so many mountain lions and bears here in Connecticut woods that it's not that safe to go there. Facebook page for the town always has bear and mountain lion posts that you would need a small gun or something to scare the bears away lol
