How cool! I really found it interesting. It's amazing how lighting can change the way we see the photo imagery.

I've totally forgotten about this thread. I have some more photos to share, but I have to find my external HDD first :(

I keep photographing birds in urban parks. Patience is a virtue. ;) And I think I'm improving my skills.

A European Robin singing (Robins sing ♫ like this ♫):

This is a Hoopoe (lives in Continental Europe, Asia and Africa):

Beautiful (and shy) bird. I was able to take several photos, but what I wanted most was to see its crest. And finally.... voilà:

What cameras do you lot use? I was thinking of buying a camera, as the one on my phone is wank, and thought may as well buy a real camera cos I don't want to change my phone.

Looking online, it seems a DSLR doesn't necessarily mean better photos and even when you buy the unit you still probably need to buy a lens and ****. Any advice?

Nikon D3200 and Canon 550d were the ones I had in mind, I know nothing btw just those were the ones being mentioned when lurking other forums but apparently the Canon lens is crap and you need to buy another lens which is £100+
