Yes! Loved that they used that version of Comfortable Numb. It's sloppiness fit the scene perfectly.

And of course.

The actual answer is probably Superfly, Trouble Man, or The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, but I'm going to be more pretentious than any of you and say AKIRA by Geinoh Yamashirogumi.

Best in Show is far and away my favorite of those movies.

AKIRA is by Katsuhiro Ôtomo.

EDIT:
Also, as someone who hangs out around cyberpunk irc rooms sometimes:

Ghost in the Shell > AKIRA
Suck it.

The movie is, yes, but I was talking about the soundtrack.

I think I've seen Ghost in the Shell and the score is pretty cool too, but no.

So the thing is, I never have very favourable opinions on Ghost in the shell the 1995 film, I can rip it to pieces and scream about its director and how I hate all things he does.

Yet....I will always end acting in the most opposite way possible to this on the subject of Ghost in the shell. I own the DVD, I own the ORIGINAL 1995 print of the soundtrack (not at all hard to get, but still it means something to me lols.) and I only really got it because I love this one track, which is the ionic sound of Ghost in the shell.

As for movie soundstracks. IGNORE THE PART THAT SAY DEVO...they are not the only reason why I like the soundtrack, however It was probably the first time I hear Devo in my life was when I watched Tank girl.
