This is my all time favourite. John Addison, its composer, was actually involved in Operation Market Garden. The most poignant part is around the middle - the piano reminds me of Ravel's "Pavane for a Dead Princess".

Me myself and Irene, Lost highway, The goonies.
I also like a Resident evil soundtrack but i can't remember which one lol i think it's after life, the one with the Perfect circle song.

Under the Skin has an amazing soundtrack. Haunting and jarring violin layers over minimalist percussion. The song 'Love' is a nice ethereal change of pace on the soundtrack too. One of my albums of the year.
