This is my all time favourite. John Addison, its composer, was actually involved in Operation Market Garden. The most poignant part is around the middle - the piano reminds me of Ravel's "Pavane for a Dead Princess".

I quite enjoy Joe Hisashi soundtracks. Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away and other Ghibli movies.

I also like a Resident evil soundtrack but i can't remember which one lol
i think it's after life, the one with the Perfect circle song.

Under the Skin has an amazing soundtrack. Haunting and jarring violin layers over minimalist percussion. The song 'Love' is a nice ethereal change of pace on the soundtrack too. One of my albums of the year.

Of all time, my favorite would have to be the soundtrack for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, and I also really like the music from Interstellar about the same, and both are made by Hans Zimmer.

I've been taking the Pulp Fiction and Death Proof soundtracks on the road lately, fantastic driving music.
