Pretty good soundtrack in all, but that track in question is moving.
Pete Anderson [PLUNGER?] Shows that on the imdb listing.

Yeah, I'd have to hear it. That one may be the tune they're playing with the makeshift band in the garage at night in the movie. The tune I'm talking about has pretty much just a guitar sound, and some ambient keys in the BG (I think).

I never understood why movie soundtracks have no listings for certain songs played in them. It boggles the mind sometimes.

I hear that. I may just rip it from the DVD... Hey! Wait a minute... it might be on the DVD. Have to check when I get home. It's been one of 'those' days for me.

Any chance you could find a recording you could link to?

Not yet. Haven't found anything, but I'll have a go at ripping it down from the DVD when I get a chance. The reason I like it... it sounds suspiciously like Satch. Just a thing I have goin on in my head right now.

I've got so many faves, I'm a real movie soundtrack fan.

Here's one I really like by a true great of the movie music world, Jerry Goldsmith. This piece has some wonderful influences of Charles Ives and Ralph Vaughn Williams.

Anything by Thomas Newman, a legend!

I also quite liked the Social Network soundtrack.

Absolutely agree with that one^

For newer stuff, Tron Legacy was really good. It even inspired a song from me (just the first half of this, it's called Clues Demise):
