People don't use download managers here? I'm not sitting in front of a webpage waiting for the seconds to tick down if I can avoid it lol. I use mipony, if there is a capture to fill in it just pops up on my screen when it is ready.

I believe the original one was by "Highwaymen".
A group that consisted of Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson andKris Kristofferson. I thought theirs was the original one.

I just google searched 'arbouretum highwayman cover' and got multiple pages saying Jimmy Webb and no mention of the Highwaymen...

Re: Highwayman, Jimmy Webb did the first version. I've never thought it's one of his best songs though.

From this batch the Joe Cocker is the most famous, and of course well liked by most.

Cap'n Jazz's punky Take on Me is the most interesting new one in here for me. Another good punk cover is the UK Subs version of She's Not There.

Snakefinger's The Model is ok, if not that different from the original.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps is ok, though the vocal part isn't really as good as the guitar section.

That's Neal Morse and Paul Gilbert, respectively, for ya...
