Exclamation Sad songs / tear jerkers / down-tempo

Has anyone heard any of the songs being played during the TV series House? I particularly like the song choices they go with usually near the end of an episode.
Here's a list of the songs I like from the show, and if anyone can add anything similar to this type of music, I would be forever grateful!
  • Dave Matthews - Some Devil
  • John Mayer - Gravity
  • Michael Penn - Walter Reed
  • Alanis Morissette - Not As We
  • Civil Twilight - Human
  • The Rolling Stones - You Can't Always Get What You Want

These are some songs that I was able to pick from my music catalogue that go rather nicely with the aforementioned tunes in a soft rock/pop playlist.
  • Arcade Fire - Crown of Love
  • Cat Stevens - Father and Son [suggested by eric generic]
  • The Cinematic Orchestra - To Build a Home
  • City and Colour - Comin' Home
  • Coldplay - Fix You
  • Coldplay - In My Place
  • Coldplay - The Scientist
  • Creedence Clearwater Revival - Long As I Can See the Light
  • Creedence Clearwater Revival - Wrote a Song for Everyone
  • David Gray - This Years Love
  • Gary Jules - Mad World
  • Gary Louris - Vagabonds [suggested by Jedey]
  • Jack Johnson - F-Stop Blues
  • Jet - Look What You've Done
  • John Mayer - Dreaming With a Broken Heart
  • Matthew Good - Apparitions
  • Matthew Good - Strange Days
  • Neil Young - Helpless
  • Ray LaMontagne - Trouble
  • Rufus Wainwright - Hallelujah
  • Simon & Garfunkel - The Sound of Silence

The parts I enjoy most are when the male singers' hit those high notes. So anything along those lines would be awesome guys.
