Upcoming June Comp : Songs by MB Members!

So wait, what was the verdict here? Do we need to submit a write up with our songs or what? And are we making it a guessing game or no?

I think the idea which has the most support is Freebase's idea in which we would break it up and do it like this :

People send in their tracks and once the comp is released, the artists behind the tracks write posts explaining something about the songs that have been chosen, for example what one's role in the band is, what program was used or what the inspiration behind the song was.

Those listening to the comp should be encouraged to write a post with a little something about each song, for example a review or some sort of feedback. If you are both an artist in the comp and a listener, you do both.

A quick message to those sending tracks, there's still some time before deadline so I would prefer it if you don't send me anything you're not sure you want to have on the comp! I've recieved some demos and so on that I'm not sure are supposed to be in the comp or not.

I would suggest you take your time with your songs and if you need feedback on how to perfect it, send it to someone else first! The reason I'm not super-helpful is I'm tied up with my own projects and research and I'm also gonna move back to the arctic for a while soon so I'm already spending as much time doing MB related stuff as I think I can spare .. and then some!
