Advent - Your Healing Hand
I wanted something ambient in an unconventional way that flowed naturally. Thinking of past experiences when I've visited large cathedrals, where the organs play and the light streams down through stained glass windows, I thought Advent's medieval approach to chilling out was a perfect fit for such a mood, and also for an ambient compilation. Seal - Violet Seal is one of those oddly mainstream oriented artists who managed to produce some fantastic not-so-commercial ambient/pop-soul work, hence I thought I'd get him some exposure on this compilation: despite his crossover appeal, an 8 minute quiet-storm extravaganza like Violet is certainly not suited for radio-oriented listeners. Hopefully you lot enjoyed it more!

Nujabes - Luv(sic.) Pt. 3 Ft. Shing02
Has the smoothest backing track of rap I've ever heard, and the rapping is smooth to match it. It doesn't really fit under the genre of ambient but I think it has the same effect.
