This month's theme will be european middle age history or - in one word - medieval! Deadline for submissions will be the 15th. The proper announcement is here - http://www.musicbanter.com/general-m...-medieval.html

Do you mean further back in time? The rough idea that it's from 5th century BC to the 16th gives a thousand years span in many different cultures. Would you like to submit something outside of that framework?

Medieval is usually from the 10th century onwards with the previous 500 years classed as the 'Dark Ages' here but I was pertaining musically moreso. is the comp more lyrical?

I think how it relates to the theme is entirely up to you and with me it's fine if you use the ~500-1500 timespan.

i've had a chance to really listen to this now and i love it, your submissions tore were especially good - Juno Reactor is like the soundtrack to a clubbing scene in a 90's dystopian sci-fi, that's what it's all about! And Skinny Puppy are today's 'better than the Beatles' band. Also i didn't know Fear Factory dabbled in techno?
There has to be a sequel to this compilation one of these days |
