Here to inspire a little more is one of my favourite creatures from horror, Cthulhu, one of the Great Old Ones who sleeps in the city of R'lyeh at the bottom of the ocean.

What's good about the great old ones is that the benefits from worshipping them can be rather real and tangible. The dumb thing is so are the drawbacks!

Sorry, it's not child's play, but like Child's Play, it is from the late 80s.

The story is from a book by a famous horror writer.

Don't quote me on this, it's been quite a few years, but is the last one Pet Sematary? It looked really familiar until you said it was from a book and then it hit me.
