Downloading now... |
I have some of these songs already, but oh well.
|
Looks pretty interesting, downloading.
|
Just put it on, I love this Blue Oyster Cult track, and I think I know who else does.
Was it Boo Boo? |
Glad to see a shorter comp. I'll download now.
|
Sleepy sun was pretty cool, and everything is flowing really well so far.
I like the Black Taj song, I'm going to guess that's Seltzers. |
Bootsauce and Dawntreader: had to skip
Scott Walker: Never been a fan but the song wasn't too bad Mother Tongue: Not bad, but overly generic and angry for no reason. Also about 3 minutes too long. Can: I like Can, but Delay 1968 has never caught my fancy. Again about 3 mintues too long, but sounds like Kings Of Leon's early albums. Sigur Ros: I like me some sigur ros, but I always found it to be a bit too simple for what it is. Caravan: Caravan is love. Great song if I do say so myself, definitely something I'd want in the compilation. About ten minutes too short. Clutch: Pleasant enough stoner rock, a bit generic I know who loves this band though: Antonio Jim O'Rourke: Pretty boring generic indie folkish meandering; Right up ethan's alley of course I doubt he contributed this time, but you never know. Overall pleasant but trying too hard to be "deep" Yellow Machinegun: Album ends in a punkish japanese mess in a way only Jackhammer could envisage |

Also, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say Caravan is yours. Could be because it's the only song you had anything really positive to say about. |
I'm pretty sure Clutch was Antonio, I know he recently got most or all of their discography and was pretty vocal about his admiration for them.
