1. Blue Oyster Cult-Career Of Evil: Fantastic opener, I always felt these guys were underrated, what musical genius submitted this one I wonder? Hmm... I'll just take a guess and assume it's Big3, since he likes BOC I think.
2. Sleepy Sun-New Age: Wow, this one really caught my ear. It might be my favorite. Great psychedelia with a modern twist, love the guitar. Is this yours Jack? 3. Black Taj-Cold Comfort: I like it, a lot of chord progressions going on. Like it could have been chopped off into a dozen different riffs, all with a bit of a classic rock vibe, it's really all over the place but flows nicely. Work of Tore maybe? 4. Bootsauce-Watch'a Need: Not bad, the 80s synths and Prince vocals really caught me by surprise, but I kinda like it. I think this is Rezz. 5. Dawn Treader-Lady With Death Mask: I'm not into this screamo stuff, I'm just not. I do kinda like the piano/string interlude, the rest of it, not so much. I don't know who would submit this if it wasn't Caveman. 6. Scott Walker-Boy Child: I like it, a little corny, but in a cool way, and it's got a nice spacey feel. 4ZZZ is a good bet. 7. Mother Tongue-Damage: Really good. This has a very RHCP/Pearl Jam feel, which makes me think this is the work of Seltzer. 8. Can-Little Star Of Bethlehem: I really dig it. I like Can best when they go for the funk, rather than their noiser experiments. Satchmo maybe? 9. Sigur Ros-Olsen Olsen: I already have this track. But it's probably my favorite from Agaetis Byrjun, just a gorgeous song. Could this be Sweet Nothing? 10.Caravan-The Dog, The Dog Is At It Again: Ah yes, great track from a great album. It's not everyday a prog band decides to write an ode to the blowjob. There's no way this isn't Comus. 11.Clutch-The Soapmakers: Eh, just not my thing, I'd probably like it more if it weren't for the vocals. But yeah Antonio, obviously. 12.Jim O Rourke-Halfway To A Threeway: Booooooooooooooooooooooooring. Heavily sedated indie folk like this can only be the work of Ethan. 13.Yellow Machinegun-Underground: It seems every comp has one of these kinda tracks, and they're usually my least favorite, but I actually kinda dig this one. Alfred perhaps? And yeah, one of them is a lie, since I obviously contributed something. |

Wtf how is Caravan not Comus?
In that case his must have been Sleepy Sun or Black Taj. He hardly had anything positive to say about anything else. |
