I have had so many PM'S that I have had to post a compilation early otherwise I would be losing sight of the tracks and contributors! Many thanks to all who contributed and there is still a little time until I post the 2nd part. I won't give any names out yet but suffice to say that the contributors have usually got 300+ posts. Enjoy and guess away to the contributors!

If CA didn't do Angels of Light then I don't know who.

That's the whole point- u have to guess! It is members that have a presence on MB on a regular basis and this is is only part one. I'm holding off for part two and last minute entry's!

The Afghan whigs track is horrible. I thought that cheesy grunge had died out?

I haven't heard a bad song yet. I'll definitely be looking into some of these bands/artists sometime.

As for the compilation itself - The most random thing ever :p:. I don't really care whether I liked it or not. Always fun listening to random stuff.

This was definitely top notch. Can't wait for the second half. :clap:

Moonshout is fuckin' amazing.

Haven't had time to listen yet, probably won't 'til Saturday, looks good though.

I really like this first half. The only track I didn't like was the 3rd one... No idea who did what though.

OK here is part two and I still have 4 or 5 tracks left so they will be put onto the next one as I'm planning this to be approx every 6 weeks. Once again-many thanks.

Good looking comp (a lot of stuff I've never heard of before either) - downloading it now. As for who submitted what, I'll leave the guessing 'til after a few listens.

That Angels Of Light track is excellent.

The first comp is a bit of a rollercoaster ride isn't it!

The second comp is much better than the first, The Bloody Hollies, HOTS, FOTL, Turtles, Blu & Exile and Cat Power tracks were all brilliant.

That said i should reeeally get some Yo La Tengo

I can send you some albums tomorrow if you haven't gotten any by then.

At the risk of sounding slightly cheeky, could you send New Wave Hot Dog and/or President Yo La Tengo if you have them?

What one would you reccomend? I'll have a looky.

Too many sticky's up there at the moment but it should be bumped quite frequently as people get into the comp.
