Jethro Tull

This was put together and uploaded in around 30 mins so if there are a few gaps- tough crap!

Jethro Tull are an English Rock band that began life as a blues band but quickly assimilated themselves in to the English Prog scene of the early 70's. Where JT distinguished themselves from that scene is down to main man and perennial member Ian Anderson. A self confessed eccentric whose unique stage presence playing the flute whilst stood on one leg with his wild flaming hair made JT stand out both musically and physically from the multitude of Prog bands of the 70's.

Taking influences more from Folk and Old English poems and fables instead of musical dexterity earnt JT a unique place in the genre and a sound that still remains all their own even if their 90's output conformed to generic cliched Dad rock

Here is a comp that spans over 20 years and proof that prog songs can be made in under 5 minutes!

Tracklisting:

1. Song For Jeffrey
2. Cross-Eyed Mary
3. Farm On The Freeway
4. Broadsword
5. Pussy Willow
6. Heavy Horses
7. Flyingdale Flyer
8. Teacher
9. Minstrel In The Gallery
10.Beggar's Farm
11.Skating Away (On The Thin Ice Of The New Day)
