'Float On' is a great song. What is there to dislike? It's catchy as hell...

I am among the most hardcore of their fans. it's not my absolute fave, but calling the song terrible is an overstatement.
posts like these bother me. you are shitting on someone's effort with a dismissive one-liner. @khfreek: yes, I had made one previously, I addressed that in the post.

The vocals are catchy and that is all that matters to me about them...

I don't think "Float On" is MM's best song by any means, but it's really not *terrible*.
I mean seriously - I know so many people who are really into MM now who would never have even heard of them were it not for "Float On". It's not their best song, but it was actually pretty important for them as a band in that it helped get their name out there a little more.

An Introduction to The Divine Comedy, Vol 1.
If a hybrid of Scott Walker, Elvis Costello and Prefab Sprout sounds like your thing, then search no longer. Londonderry's finest Neil Hannon has been putting out quality pop music for nearly 20 years, and this compilation should give you an idea of their 90's period, with a second covering the 2000's to follow. 1.Becoming More Like Alfie 2.Bernice Bobs Her Hair 3.Commuter Love 4.If..... 5.Timewatching 6.A Woman Of The World 7.The Certainty Of Chance 8.Through A Long And Sleepless Night 9.Lucy Introduction.rar |

a beginner's guide to built to spill
I decided to make a cd mix of one of my favorite indie bands: built to spill. note: I'm not very familiar with their latest release so if there is anything offensively missing from that I'm terribly sorry.
