You shan't be disappointed. The songs are all varied and none have an excess of guttural vocals to turn off the people who are not attuned to that vocal style. I was listening to it last night through headphones on my MP3 player and was quite pleased with my creation. The only thing about it that may turn people off is the length, clock at just about an hour and a half, it's not for everyone. That said though, I'm listening to it for a 2nd time right now and I'm thinking about playing it again.

It seems Sigh gets mentioned a fair amount around here. Those guys deserve all the attention and praise they can get...Imaginary Sonicscape is one of my favorite metal albums of all time. A lot of people can't handle its "quirkiness" (mostly the stubborn metalhead types) but I loved it from the first power chord.

I've been going on about them for the last little while now because I know a few people here like them and I'm hoping to create a few more fans. It's one of those albums that's not quite metal enough to turn off non metal fans, but just heavy enough to ensnare metal heads. But like you said, there are some metalheads stubborn enough to not like it for it's quirkiness. It's just so unique, I would have never believed that a moog synth could be utilized for anything other than industrial metal, but Sigh proved me wrong there. What's great about them is that they've been growing ever since that album, adding a saxophonist to their permanent roster who is a woman no less. Besides playing the saxophone she acts a secondary vocalist, often doing a harsher style effect than Mirai Kawashima, as well as acting as the bands chief sex appeal, which has given the band more notoriety in the last 3 years.

Yeah, I definitely still have to check out more of their albums. Imaginary Sonicscape has been enough for me until now. Any suggestions on which album to grab next?

Hangman's Hymn (2007) is the next best step. It continues with their transition into avant-garde and was a lot better than their 2005 album Gallows Gallery. After that I would check out their 2010 album Scenes from Hell and if you enjoy that then check out Gallows Gallery (2005). From there you can decide if you want to go back and check out their early '90's black metal stuff, it's not in any way bad, but their later stuff was far better.

Seeing as a lot of people found that the previous compilation was a bit long, I thought I'd try my best to compile this 15 track compilation. Also, just on a side note, it's John Lennon's birthday :)

1. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
2. Eleanor Rigby
3. Across the Universe
4. All My Loving
5. Hey Bulldog
6. I Me Mine
7. I'm Happy Just to Dance with You
8. Happiness is a Warm Gun
9. Here Comes the Sun
10. Hey Jude
11. A Day in the Life
12. For No One
13. Yesterday
14. Strawberry Fields Forever
15. Carry that Weight
