i'd just like to re-iterate that gunnels' flawless Rush compilation changed my life forever since you philistines seem to have ignored it.

And Party Ranger! Classical belongs on budget-range CD's, shame on you :nono:
I particularly recommend the Naxos library, they are cheap and performances tend to use acclaimed orchestras/composers. So no 'Jimmy Kong and the Trinidad Youth Orchestra'.

Karajan or bust!

Seriously though, I generally pick up what's available and cheaper is always better.

The Beginner's Guide to Jonathan Coulton

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...n_Coulton.jpeg

Jonathan Coulton is probably best known for his song work at the end of Valve's 2007 surprise hit "Portal". He also does a back page in Popular Science and proved that you don't need a record label to become popular. All his stuff is self released from his website (Jonathan Coulton). He use to post his songs up for free download, but after his popularity began to rise he now charges, something I'm happy to pay because his work is top notch. His topics range from the joys of being a computer programmer to bacteria, witty and at times very dark, he is not a musician to be passed up.

Track Listing:

Still Alive
Code Monkey
Skullcrusher Mountain
RE: Your Brains
Tom Cruise Crazy
Ikea

Would anyone be interested in a Sufjan Stevens or Ben Folds comp?

I've heard a lot about Sufjan Stevens but never actually bothered to get an album and form an opinion of my own about him.

Go for it :thumb:

I'd love a Ben Folds comp, all I have is Brick. Been meaning to get more of his stuff for awhile now.
