Well this is a threat I really enjoyed so far, so what the heck...I'll post one as well, and I hope you find it intriguing...
THE BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO PORCUPINE TREE Well, this one of my favorite bands ever, and imo, probably the best act out there today. Most of you are already familiar with Mr Wilson and his band, so I compiled a list for the first-timers... It doesn't cover their whole work, but it's mostly a beginner's guide to create the curiosity to check out the whole albums which is after all the big idea I guess... PT Guide 1. Open Car (Deadwing) 2. Blackest Eyes (In Absentia) 3. Sentimental (Fear Of A Blank Planet) 4. Arriving Somewhere But Not Here (Deadwing) 5. Lazarus (Deadwing) 6. The Rest Will Flow (Lightbulb Sun) 7. Waiting (Phase One) (Signify) 8. Start of Something Beautiful (Deadwing) 9. Normal (Nil Recurring (EP)) 10. Trains (In Absentia) 11. Shesmovedon (Lightbulb Sun) 12. Stop Swimming (Stupid Dream) 13. Sleep Together (Fear Of A Blank Planet) 14. Feel So Low (Lightbulb Sun) if there is any problem with the link, please PM me, first time I uploaded anything to Megaupload. PT Guide |

PT is awesome but their early years were kickass. The Sky Moves Sideways was eargasmic.

you mean no early work don't you...?
I didn't pick any songs from the first two albums, cause they are actually Steven Wilson solo, his the only performer on the album, and as for The Sky Moves Sideways, all the songs which I like are way to long for a compilation |
