Surely nothing can beat the glam-rock fantastic that is the Soundtrack to Micro Machines 2! I used to listen to this all the time, even when I wasn't actually playing mm2 :P Unfortunately only one of the 5 works or art is on youtube, but I have linked it below for your collective pleasures:

Video games you say, then I've got a lot.
What Are You Waiting For [Instrumental] - My Little Cheap Dictaphone ( This is a song, right? But the Instrumental version is in the game. ) Victoria's Lab Int. - Winifred Phillips Eve's Asylum Int. - Winifred Phillips Da Vinci's Hideout Int. - ??? Sleepy Head by Passion Pit ..... from LittleBigPlanet 1 and 2. Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill have cool ones too. Its very cool. They're my favorite. Oh and I'm a fan of Winifred Phillips.

The only one I can think about off the top of my head that really made a dent into what I was listening to was the Mirror's Edge soundtrack. I was really digging the feel of some of those tracks.
