There's no shame in that. The Halo soundtracks are all pretty good.

My favorite soundtracks are the Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 soundtracks and God of War 1 & 2 soundtracks. Kingdom Hearts has orchestral pieces that match each Disney world without borrowing music from the movies and two techno tracks as the main themes for both games. I like them both. God of War has some (I know it's overused) EPIC orchestal work and some good choral work (Prague choir pwns).

I'm gonna let my geekdom show a little bit, but Final Fantasy IX had the best soundtrack, its four discs and primarily all the songs are variations of five or six main melodies. But I love it completely.

I have an audio rip of this although it's a little quiet. PM is a friend.

Ive been really getting into the Silent Hill soundtracks lately. Akira Yamaoka is the master at industrial ambient.

AGREED! Zelda and Halo 3 have the best soundtracks. I'm no game expert... but excellent music IMO on these two
