I forgot about the Hyrule Castle theme in Twilight Princess. That clean (organ?) that plays when you enter the interior, is just masterfully creepy, and that 3rd floor theme that builds and builds to a crescendo like finish is a perfect homage to OoT and Gandorf's Castle. They NAILED those two themes, wow.

Wait nevermind, KOTOR II is my favorite. Every piece of music in that game perfectly blends with the nihilistic theme of the entire game. It would be perfect except the Ebon Hawk theme and a few others get extremely repetitive after some time.
Also it was quite refreshing that the 'cantina' music in that one bar/whatever on Onderon was actually original, instead of using the stock 'cantina' theme that is featured in every Star Wars game from here to the end of the galaxy. Last edited by Wpnfire; 03-23-2015 at 10:32 PM. |

Stuart Chatwood - Time Only Knows from Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time,
Darren Korb - A Proper Story, Darren Korb - Setting Sail, Coming home (End Theme) from Bastion, All soudtracks of Castlevania series, And I really love dark theme of Prince of Persia Warrior Within's Soundtrack. Sorry I can't send any link because my posts under the limit. |

I really like the music from the old games like Goof troop, Zombies ate my neighbors (weird kid on the lock), Super mario word (Muda kingdom), Pokemon red (Lavender town) are some of the candidates.. really hard to choose just one

A link to the past has a great soundtrack, in fact most Zelda games do, imo the Zelda franchise and the Final fantasy have the most iconic soundtracks in videogame history.

If I haven't mentioned The Witcher, I'm doing that now. Probably one of my faves actually, any one of them. Tribal till I die.
Also went nostalgia recently on some RCT. The water and Egyptian park music themes were pretty solid. I've never had the corkscrew pack before, pleasant surprise.
