1. King Jammy - Slow Motion Dub.
Yes! This is quite excellent. Exactly what I would hope for. 2. Grand National - Going To Switch The Lights On. the juxtaposition definitely highlights the dub influence on this track (i can hear it, anyway) good, catchy song. reminds me a bit of dandy warhols 3. The Cranes - Bewildered. i do enjoy this type of music. need more by this band 4. Mount Eerie- No Flashlight. lol, mount eerie says it all. 5. Loop - Shot With A Diamond. i like loop, but not when i'm paying too much attention 6.The Stranglers - Threatened. "You want big fat bass lines?" Umm.. does a bear **** in the woods?! good track, but were the synths really necessary? 7. Bernard Herrman - Taxi Driver Theme elevator jazz, i prefer staircase jazz 8. The Toasters-Marlboro Man yeah, ska is fun 9. Tin Machine-Pretty Thing. pretty thing = pretty good 10. Nitzer Ebb-Fun To Be Had. i'm sure it's classic, it's also horrendously dated 11. Lisa Gerard-The Insider. another moody female vocalist piece, cool beans 12. Folk Implosion-Natural One. i expect more from lou barlow ![]() 13. Clayhill-Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want. wasn't fitting my mood so i skipped it 14. Roy Budd-Get Carter Theme. awesome 15. Graham Reynolds-Aphids. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY |
