The Weirdness of Tim
01) Laibach - L'Homme Arme : Bizarre song from a bizarre band 02) Ashley Wallbridge & Andy Moor - Faces (Ben Gold Remix) : Uplifting vocal trance from Ben Gold who usually deals with tech. It's good to hear him trying new things 03) Liturgy - Mysterium : Depressive black metal with the speed of grindcore. 04) Amesoeurs - Faux Semblants : Cheery track from the french band who span Shoegaze, Post Punk, and Depressive Black Metal. 05) Enigmato pres. Acid Bunny - He's Here (Acid Bunny Mix) : True hardstyle from Przemyslaw Dziechciarz a.k.a. Tornadozzer. 06) Irrwisch - Vom Felsen : Depressive Black Metal with a gorgeous intro 07) Luigi Lusini - Bahamut : Chilled Progressive House 08) Ruoska - Kiiraslapsi : Finnish industrial reminiscent of old Rammstein 09) Anaal Nathrakh - Blood Eagles Carved on the Backs of Innocents : Unbelievably fast and aggressive grindcore. 10) Sacred Spirit - The Cradle Song : Violin meets traditional Native American music meets Electronica. Beautiful stuff! Download |

I almost forgot I made this
Take it! Flower Child's Special Concoction Download If they don't show up in this order, make sure you put them in this order. Its how I designed it. If at all possible, I would suggest listening to it while driving or traveling some way or another 1. Lonesome, On'ry, and Mean - Waylon Jennings I think this makes a good first track because of its excellent and classic outlaw intro and Waylon booming voice singing out "On a greyhound bus, lord I'm travelin' this morning..." Gets the energy flowing, amps up anticipation, and makes for a perfect warmup for the rest of the mix tape. 2. Hearts Against The Wind - Linda Ronstadt and JD Souther On the other hand, this song is very calm and drifty, complete with a beautiful mandolin intro. 3. Train, Train - Blackfoot Interesting band. Almost all of the members are Native Americans. The harmonica solo at the beginning of this song is one of the best solos I've ever heard. Strong southern rock, with a stark resemblance to Lynyrd Skynyrd's style. Love the masculine voice of Rickey Medocke. 4. Funny How Time Slips Away - Willie Nelson "Well hello there...my its been a long, long time...." You just can't beat the brilliance of Willie Nelson song writing. I find this track gives a nice variation if tempo for the tape. 5. Don't The Girls All Get Prettier At Closing Time - Mickey Gilley Thought I would throw in this rather low class light-hearted jumpy tune to get things moving again. That old bar room piano is great. 6. Can't You See - Marshall Tucker Band One of my absolute favorites. Southern rock at its finest. The collaboration of the instruments in this song is immense. 7. Heaven and Hell - Waylon Jennings A perfect song to end on. Simple chords, simple lyrics, simple vocals, time is 1:41 - yet the genuineness and truth expressed is pure gold. Its not ten tracks but I don't want it going to waste. |

I'm not too good with descriptions and such so if you're interested just download a track. Pretty mellow mix here with the two Paul Dempsey songs and Radiohead. I put two longer more progressive songs in with 'New Day' and 'In A Memory'. Oh and if you think that the Karnivool lead singer sounds familiar to the Birds Of Tokyo singer it because they are the same person lol

Next time it would be easier on both parties if you put all the songs you want into a new file, zip the file, then just upload the one file as a whole. Anyhow here's a 10 track mix of albums from 2009 I liked, but haven't really heard anyone else talking about them, so hopefully some new fans will be born and I can take credit for their creation. Anyhow enjoy! 1. "Vibrations" - The Voodoo Trombone Quartet - Again 2. "Dear John" - I Monster - A Dense Swarm of Ancient Stars 3. "Awake!" - Devin Townsend Project - Addicted! 4. "Best Thing Man" - True Live - Found Lost 5. "Doomsday" - Outlaw Nation - New Day 6. "Wanted" - The Phuss - Wanted 7. "The Good Doctor" - The Protomen - Act II: The Father of Death 8. "Buster Voodoo" - Rodrigo y Gabriela - 11:11 9. "Light Years" - Gift of Gab - Escape 2 Mars 10. "Geneva" - Russian Circles - Geneva Enjoy! |

1)Drank Like a River – Whiskeytown Because this song is awesome and it reminds me of a friend’s band who used to cover it. Good memories, good song. 2) Can’t Hardly Wait - The Replacements I just absolutely love the Replacements. Love the horns in this song. It’s really catchy and I think you’ll all enjoy it. 3) Stuck Between Stations - The Hold Steady Amazing band. I love Craig Finn’s voice so much and his lyrics are always amazing. I enjoy the narrative style song writing thing he’s got going on. I really like this album (Boys and Girls in America). For a fun/cute song, check out the “chillout tent” for an amaaazing song, one you have to pause and catch your breath for check out “first night” 4) Fables – The Dodos Everyone needs some fun indiepop songs. 5) Angel on my Shoulder – Melvern Taylor Love it. 6) Stray Dog and the Chocolate Shake – Grandaddy Good band, good song, really catchy. 7) Five Years Time – Noah and the Whales This song makes me so happy. And, yayyy ukulele! 8) Nothing to Worry About – Peter Bjorn and John Really cool song. These guys have some good stuff. The music video is worth checking out. 9) Come Pick Me Up – Ryan Adams Oh man, this song just kills me. Banjo, yes. Harmonica, ohh yess. Sexy voice, god yes. 10) I and Love and You - The Avett Brothers “three words that got hard to say: I and love and you” with lyrics like that, how can you not love this song? If you’re digging alt-country right now, like I am, then def check out # 1, 9 & 10
