Punk Comp Some Hardcore Punk, Ska-Punk, Crust Punk, Pop-Punk, and even some Folk Punk. Nothing rare, not to many unknown bands.Enjoy 500 Channels - Choking Victim Cool group of guys, pretty underrated. I Just Want Some Skank - Circle Jerks Classic Circle Jerks, great drums by Lucky Lehner as always. Ever - Flipper I want to see what all of you will think of these guys, they were a very early noise punk band and are still around today. Gang Control - Leftover Crack Most of the members from Choking Victim moved onto this band. In My Eyes - Minor Threat Legends. Vulnerability - Operation Ivy One of my favorite bands, these guys are punks with a purpose really good lyrics and in my opinion one of there most powerful songs. The Wars End - Rancid Tim Armstrong went on to form this band after Op. Ivy. F uck Sh!t Up - Wingnut Dishwashers Union This guys homeless and travels around the U.S. preaching Anarchy and playing great Folk Punk. I could go on all day about this amazing guy. Voyuer - blink 182 I know there's a lot of Blink haters on here so that kind of made me want to put this one in even more. This is just a fun song to listen to, doon't take it to seriously. Steak Knife - Angry Samoans One of the most underrated punk bands. DOWNLOAD http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JNAMRGPO |

After not visiting this site foreeever, I came back for this thread :P I figured I should at least try to contribute something. I wasn't sure where to start, so this is pretty much a mixed bag of a few of my favourite songs. Hopefully you can find one you like
1. Dr. Noise - Mad World (Cover) Check him out on Youtube, haven't heard a song I didn't like from him yet 2. 65daysofstatic - Another Code Against the Gone 3. Eyeshine - Blackout 4. Epik High - one Korean rap...yeah. Not something I would normally listen to either, but I really like their stuff. 5. Freedom Call - Blackened Sun This song is heavier than their others; it's one of my favourites by the, though. 6. Wakey!Wakey! - War Sweater (Live) Download their live album for free here. 7. Venetian Snares - Winnipeg is a Frozen ****hole Not sure I love this guy's music, but it sure is crazy. (It helps that I'm from Winnipeg also :P) 8.Trans-siberian Orchestra - Midnight/Fate I'm cheating and sticking two songs here XP 9. Miracles of Modern Science - 524 Another band who's music you can download for free (here). 10. Benassi Bros. - Castaway Download |

Here's a themed mix I did earlier today, it's a pretty easy theme to pick up (in fact it's in the title) but I'm not going to say it because that'd just be too easy. I'm trying to do more things based on themes, in fact it may be something we do once a month in the Weekly Music Trading Post thread, but I'm still playing around with that idea. Anyhow here they are for you:
Artist Names are bolded Song titles are "quoted" Album titles are italicized First Mix Blackalicious - "Searching" - NIA Matisyahu - "I Will Be Light" - Light Rehab - "This I know" - Graffiti The World Dan Le Sac Vs. Scroobius Pip - "Letter From God To Man" - Angles CunninLynguists - "The Gates (ft. Tonedeff)" - A Piece of Strange 16 Horsepower - "Black Soul Choir" - Sackcloth 'n' Ashes Strawfoot - "The Lord's Wrath" - Chasing Locusts Corey Smith - "Skin Off My Teeth" - In The Mood Gruf the Druid - "Druidry" - Druidry William Elliott Whitmore - "Lord Only Knows" - Hymns For The Hopeless Second Mix Flobots - "There's A War Going On For Your Mind" - Fight With Tools Leftover Crack - "Atheist Anthem" - Mediocre Generica Lucero - "Sing Me No Hymns" - Rebels, Rogues & Sworn Brothers Nevermore - "This Godless Endeavor" - This Godless Endeavor Death - "Flesh And The Power It Holds" - The Sound Of Perseverance Vintersorg - "A Metaphysical Drama" - Visions From The Spirit Generator Napalm Death - "A No Sided Argument" - Time Waits For No Slave Warrel Dane - "When We Pray" - Praises To The War Machine Nine Inch Nails - "Heresy" - The Downward Spiral Theocracy - "Bethlehem" - Mirror Of Souls I did put some effort into this so for the people who do download and listen to it please let me know what your thoughts on the theme were. I hope you enjoy it! |

That Flobots song is sadly the best song on that album.
However that album is better than alot of people make it out to be.
