THE PRIMAL SCREAM 10 1. Crystal Crescent The bands second single and the one that thrust them to the forefront of the C86 movement. 2. Treasure Trip Jangly indie pop from their debut album Sonic Flower Groove. They disowned this album even before it came out , but I like it. 3. I'm Losing More Than I'll Ever Have Soulful rock ballad from their self titled second album. This song had the crap remixed out of it and was the basis for Loaded on the Screamadelica album. 4. Don't Fight It Feel It (7" Edit) I actually like this version better than the full version on Screamadelica , it seems more stripped down & to the point. I think this is the best dance record they ever made. 5. Screamadelica Although the title track wasn't included on the album it was included on the Dixie Narco E.P. This song is a glorious 10 minute psychadelic / dance / soul / funk workout. 6. Kowalski Heavy as fuck song based on Richard Sarafian's 1971 movie Vanishing Point. The highlight of the album Vanishing Point. 7. Motorhead Somehow Primal Scream play this louder & heavier than Motorhead & Hawkwind ever did. 8. Exterminator Title track from the bands 6th album , this is included purely for the bassline alone. 9. MBV Arkestra This song is pretty much what it says in the title , Kevin Shields (MBV) does Sun Ra (Arkestra) . This song goes from being dance to bangra to rock to jazz to noise and then back again in my opinion it's the best ever song Primal Scream have ever written. 10 When The Bomb Drops The best song by miles off the Riot City Blues album , features a guest appearance by Will Sergent of Echo & The Bunnymen on guitar doing his typical swirly Bunnymen style playing. 11 Velocity Girl [Bonus Track] 80 Seconds of pure jangly indiepop heaven. This is the Primal Scream track that appeared on the famous C86 compilation. LINK

Many thanks Urban. I like the Exterminator album so that's a plus. Jangly indie pop sends shivers down my spine but for all the wrong reasons. Probably my least liked genre of music but big up and I will give this a listen.
