Ok here is my list, (edit) now with description....most of this is indie rock but I really hope you give it a chance

Holland 1945 - Neutral Milk Hotel
beautiful song i mean who does'nt think so? I picked this song from one of my favorite albums aeroplane over the sea......if you don't have it get it now!!!

Knocked On The Fortune Teller's Door - Lilys
Another great song, from one of those great bands none have ever heard of.....please for the sake of good music check these guys out......

Flakes - Mystery Jets
I actually found these guys on a record label site and ordered their ep and it had one of the best covers ive ever heard but
alas.....i have lost it,but Flakes is still a great song so please give it a listen......

Electriclife - Psychic Ills
Reminds me of echo and the bunnymen.......good stuff,if your lookin for somethin new check these guys out please.....saw them live and it was phenomenal.......

Seashells - Seabear
love this song........love it,love it,love it.......and you should to

Tastefaker - Souls She Said
good psychedelic rock.......I really don't know who sounds like them but the guitarist is amazing..........but im sorry to say they are no more.......if you like Don Devore's guitar work you might want to check out Vague Angels as well......

Cut Back The Heard - The Icarus Line
From Their Black Presents EP......again Don Devore's guitar work is ****ing amazing and so is Joe Cardemone's vocals (yes i am crazy for Don)

Dreams - TV On The Radio
Yet another beautiful song......I really just love this song and I hold it near and dear..........

When Cherry Blossoms Breeze Past Lotus Leaves - Vague Angels
Not Don's guitar work but he just joined this band.....i love the guitar work though.....truly love it....please give these guys a chance.........ive talked to them more then a few times and their very nice........

Warm Rising Sun - Radar Bros.
Another great song by the radar bros. Its becoming one of my favorite songs......and i really can't describe how great this song is............i really can't

Down with the Sickness - Disturbed Can't say anything about this song, except that it drew me into Disturbed, and I love it for that. Not my favorite, and definately not the most meaningful song, but without it I wouldn't have Disturbed.

Best of You - Foo Fighters Very important song to me. When it was released I was struggling with a girlfriend and this song seemed to fit perfectly with my mood.

Sanitarium - Metallica Probably my favorite Metallica song; it has the quietness of Nothing else Matters along with the insaneness of Four Horsemen.

Blackbird - Alterbridge First song I listened to off Alterbridge's debut album (Blackbird). Some of the best guitar work I've heard in modern music, so I cherish this song and album.

Mr. Crowley - Ozzy Osbourne This song furthered my admiration of Randy Rhoads. 2 of my favorite solos ever.

Breath - Breaking Benjamin Great song. "You take the breath right out of me/left a hole where my heart should be."

Overburdened - Disturbed One of my favorites from their 3rd album. Its talking about a soldier who has gone to hell for killing someone in combat. He doesn't understand why; he was only following a ruler he thought was just. I don't have the time (nor you to the patience) to explain why this song means so much to me

Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne First song I ever heard from Randy Rhoads. *sigh* only the good die young....

One - Metallica Same as Overburdened, really.

Higher - Creed This song was released when I was about 8 or 9, and I think its one of the reasons I got into rock music. Plus its a beautiful song.

^ Not important.
Your 10 would have been more interesting, had you written why you chose them.

Old/new/any genre...it doesn't even matter if you think most here have heard them before.
What matters, is that you list the tracks in your post along with the link and a little write up to explain your choices.

Right Track has reiterated what the thread is about. Don't just post a compilation. Tell us why those songs are in or post your own opinions on them.

Sorry, can't up anything at the moment. I'll get descriptions up though. Try finding youtube videos. I recall seeing a bunch of fan videos.
