I have not listened to many soundtracks as I rarely watch movies and because I have so many artists I want to listen to before. However, the Pulp Fiction Collectors Edition soundtrack is amazing. I also listened to the Gladiator soundtrack and found it good. Lastly, I am soft at heart and enjoyed the A Walk To Remember soundtrack, and listening to Switchfoot was a plus!

YES! My favorite movie and also one of my fav. soundtracks! This one has it all: Alt. rock with Concrete Blonde and Pixies Punk with Bad Brains (w/ Henry Rollins!) Grunge with Soundgarden And also there are some great 'lesser known' artists on here like Cowboy Junkies and Chagall Gueverra too! Other Soundtracks that have not been mentioned: The Breakfast Club! 'Don't you (forget about me)' OWNZ all! Reality Bites! Has both Dinosaur Jr. (turnip farm) and Juliana Hatfield ('spin the bottle') on the same album! YES!!!! |

My favourite music soundtrack is most definitely the 'Lord of the Rings' soundtrack by Howard Shore... what a masterpiece, and certainly one that creates an otherwordly sound. He composed over 10 hours of music for it, and all of it is some of the most gorgeous music I've ever heard.

Yeah that's a keeper.
I also like Thief and Sorcerer soundtracks by Tangerine Dream. Zorba the Greek soundtrack (Life IS trouble!) Man of La Mancha (Broadway version) Eraserhead soundtrack (Remaster is brilliant) The Third Man (Anton Karas!) Lost Highway (The way this album is constructed, sequenced, etc. - one of the better song-oriented soundtracks) For a Few Dollars More (All of those Spaghetti soundtracks are good, but the tension of the pocketwatch chime just gets me...) |
