Talking compilation soundtracks, as opposed to scores:

Pulp Fiction
Trainspotting
American Graffiti
Dazed and Confused has plenty of quality tracks, but also a lot of contrived 70 's **** that I hate
Forrest Gump
The Graduate, although it's only a few songs
2001: A Space Odyssey
A Clockwork Orange
The Royal Tenenbaums
Rushmore
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou

I really liked the Life Aquatic. What exactly was on the soundtrack? I vaguely remember some good tunes(I saw it like lasty year).

jazzfromhell 04-09-2006 07:56 PM

Hmmm, let me think...there was all those David Bowie songs in Portuguese, some actual David Bowie Songs, the Stooges, I think Sigur Ròs was on there, and some other stuff. Anyway, I remember enjoying it. :)
