Bravo! A small group of MB members appear to know the difference between a film score and a movie soundtrack compilition. The distinction is very important.

I'm not going to bore anybody with a lecture on the fine points of music for film. All the information you need to know is readily available on Google. That being said, my favorite film score composers are Yann Teirsen, Angelo Baldalamenti, Phillip Glass, John Barry, Bernard Hermann, Earle Hagen, Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone and Ry Cooder. You can hear film scores by any of these composers by entering their names into a search at YouTube.
