Versions of Papa Was a Rolling Stone
 

Does anyone here know anything at all about this version of The Temptations' Papa Was a Rolling Stone? It is labelled a Norman Whitfield remix from 1987, but I am sure there is some crucial information which is incorrect or missing in order to track it down. This version should not be too obscure because I remember it being a hit and receiving radio airplay.

One of the problems is that there are lots of remixes. Normally, I can take or leave them, but this particular example is the best ever version for me. Warning: the video is a bit weird, but it fits:
