Default Old School

Post your gems here.. looking to widen my funk repertoire..
Anything with sustained organ or heavy bass is great, as a friend and I will be gigging this April and are looking for secret classics.

The title of this thread is a bit off from what you are looking for.

I figured that I'd help you out with some suggestions, not sure if they will be helpful though.

Larry Graham and the Graham Central Station

Some Tower of Power.

Gotta love Bootsy

I posted it in the wrong section and don't know how to change the title... I've tried and it's just changing what's in the thread and not before you click it.
Thanks for the links!

Yeah, I think only mods can change the title so you would have to ask them and tell them what you want it to say instead and no problem!

What would you like the title changed to?

Question

Closer .. said to use your own descetion as to what it is, that you think would be a more appropriate title for this particular thread.

Favorite (Old school) Funk gems? You could more than likely choose/pick a more coherent title to the thread than I could Janszoon.

We need to do something, getting tired of seeing the word "Rap" in the Soul & Funk forum.
