Clean Gene Chandler,a soul legend out of the windy city of Chicago started his career as a member of the group-The Dukays who had some minor success with-Kissin In The Kitchen-Night Owl-Festival Of Love, but it was their recording of-Duke Of Earl with Gene on lead that should've put em over except that Gene left as a solo artist and had much success, with such gems as-Just Be True-Nothing Can Stop Me-Fooled You This Time-A Song Called Soul-Man's Temptation-Rainbow 65-What Now,and he didn't stop in the Seventies or the Eighties with hits-Groovy Situation-Not The Marrying Kind-Does She Have A Friend For Me-Get Down..A True Soul Legend!

I really enjoy this post,so if I may add a great but seldom mentioned artist from the Sixties-Seventies..Major Lance, who came along in the early Sixties with a little song called-Delila which didn't do much but his next one did-Monkey Time and it was hit after hit for the Major through the 60's..Um Um Um Um Um Um-Rhythm-The Matador-Think Nothing About It-Hey Little Girl-Come See-Girls-Sweet Music-Sometimes I Wonder-Gonna Get Married-An't It A Shame..and he kept it going in the Seventies with-Stay Away From Me-Since I Lost My Baby's Love-Chicago Disco-Girl Come On Home..a great dancer as well made his live performances special..one of the coolest ever-Major Lance!
