James Brown was a monster entertainer! There will never be another James Brown and I know that people make fun of him, such as posting the video of his drunk interview.

But check out his various contributions to soul music and black causes such as the after-mentioned concert and freedom rally above. He was nowhere near a perfect man and he made many mistakes, but they should not overshadow his many business and charitable contributions.

Performing in Vietnam 1968, Boston Gardens concert(same year), Black & Brown trading stamps, 3-4 records on the charts at the same time, his own private lear jet, meeting with various presidents, etc.

There are also many people along the way who help make James Brown, "JAMES BROWN"! The various bands and leaders ( Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley, etc.,) Ben Bart (manager), Alan Leeds (tour manager), Sid Nathan ( King Records), Bobby Byrd ("discovered" JB) and many, many others over the years.

Most importantly, he had the will and determination to do what he did night after night on stage and in business. So while people are laughing at his latter imperfections, they should also check out what this man accomplished in the music world!
