Default The Queen of Funk?

okay, so I was just wondering since Aretha Franklin is "generally" recognized as the queen of Soul, and Donna Summer as the queen of Disco (although that title is more controversial than Aretha's title) who do you think is "most" recognized as the potential queen of Funk? Which fine lady might have been the most influential or made the most impact for the funk scene?

I think Chaka Khan is up there near the top..
