Why are you so persistant in defending her?

She is definitely talented. I just can't watch her sing. Something about the way she looks when she sings distracts me from the actual song and really takes away from it. But, I do respect her talent (when she is lucid...have we all seen the video of her singing with Charlotte Church...scary!).

As far as how messed up she is...I think it's funny how people get online and discuss celebrities as if they know them personally. It's obvious Winehouse has some serious problems, but none of us really has the right to say how much she respects herself or how much she loves drugs or whatever. The media is only going to show people the bad stuff, because that's what most people are interested in. Plus, how many of the people who frequent this very website haven't suffered from the same problems? I'm sure they wouldn't benefit from being judged so harshly.

Best way to handle a drug addiction is keep taking it regular like keef!
Or stop fully like keef.
None of that start stop crap.
Fine wine, good food and a little of what you fancy to lighten her day!

yes, most of us though don't have fans idolizing and copying every little thing that we do. And if we are all like that's cool considering her drug use, she probably never will get better.

I agree with you. Unfortunately, that's something that comes with fame.

Be that as it may, I still feel that since none of us know her personally, we don't really have the right to judge the extent of her problems. But, I'm fairly naive when it comes to addiction, so maybe the severity of her issues just isn't as blaringly obvious to me.

Anyone with a drug problem does sadden me but let's be honest she has the resources to get her off it and recieve professional help but then maybe she won't be in the papers so much? I can honestly see the poor woman dead before she's 30 the way she is going.
